This issue will focus on archiving and preservation. We want to resurface and preserve interesting or pertinent trans women’s and transfeminist writing.
This theme is optional; all submissions, like normal, are welcome.
Submissions of previously published work and precariously published work will be prioritised. However, submissions do not need to have seen the light of day before.
- Think: Blog posts, writing, zines, booklets, online posts, leaflets, posters, testimonials, accounts, pastiches, essays lying in drawers - now dated, oral histories, takes you don’t stand by any more, Web 1.0 era posts, LiveJournals, old bits from early Tumblr, forums the Online Safety Act closed down, art projects, archiving and archiving projects, obsolete or dated transition advice forums, ephemera, leaflets and internal docs now redundant, photos, organising notebooks from yonks ago, stuff that didn’t feel important and still doesn’t feel important enough to email us about.
You are invited to:
- Submit writing of your own, or from a project you were involved in.
- Refer writers to submit their work to us.
- Refer to us writers you have been unable to contact. (We can certainly give it a go!)
- Come to us with any concern you or others have with publishing and republishing.
- And to submit your own writing as normal.
Otherwise, business as usual.
As always, publication can be anonymous or pseudonymous.
Deadline for submissions: 1st January, 2027.
